My Trip to Toronto, Canada

March 6, 2018

There's a lot to do in this Canadian city! Be a real tourist, get a CityPass, and go do all the touristy things (esp. if this is your first time). If you're like me, you want to see as much as you can while you're there and CityPass will save you time and money (valid for 9 days).

The pass includes express passes to all the main touristy spots like the following 3 that I suggest making priority:

CN Tower

CN Tower is Canada’s most recognizable and celebrated icon. Spectacular views include floor-to-ceiling panoramic Window Walls, world-famous Glass Floor, SkyPod and glass fronted elevators with glass floor panels. Three restaurants include award-winning 360 Restaurant. Plus EdgeWalk, the world’s highest ‘hands-free’ external walk, (116 stories) above the ground. This experience is definitely worth it.

Here's me inside the tower looking over Toronto:

Ripley's Aquarium of Canada

If you're like me and love animals, this aquarium (which holds 16,000 aquatic animals) will wow you! Specifically, the sharks and the underground tunnel.

Royal Ontario Museum

The ROM is an indispensable resource for building community by nurturing discovery and inspiring wonder. The ROM invites visitors to explore and enjoy extraordinary experiences of science and civilization. We are Toronto's essential tourism destination for unforgettable insights that reveal how the earth and its culture ...

A few additional things that I didn't get to see/do but think would be cool next time are the following:

Casa Lama

I hear this is the only landmark castle in North America and Toronto’s premier historic attraction.

Toronto Zoo

I didn't get to visit the zoo but I hear they have giant panda cubs (which I love). With over 5,000 animals, you can travel the world in just one visit. Plus, learn how the Zoo is working to save and protect endangered species at home and abroad.

Don't forget to see the Toronto sign (below) and check out the ice skating rink. Have you been to Toronto? What were your favorite parts? Let me know in the comments!
